Collection: Marble Tiles

Marble tiles are a beautiful and hard-wearing choice for many tiling applications. They are suitable for a wide range of uses from flooring, walls, splashbacks and even fireplaces. Whilst they are water-resistant, unlike porcelain, marble tiles require sealing and maintenance for use in wet areas.

As a type of natural stone, no two marble tiles will be exactly alike. This creates a unique aesthetic for each installation that enhances any room. With colouring from rich blacks to gleaming white, explore our range of marble tiles for a variety that suits your space.

Marble Tiles FAQs

What makes marble tiles different from other tiles?

Marble is a natural stone, so each tile has its own veining, colour variation and character. This means a marble installation will not have the uniform appearance of a manufactured tile, which is an important part of its appeal.

Will all marble tiles look the same?

No. Natural variation is expected in marble tiles, including differences in colour, veining and pattern. Review product images and, where possible, view samples before finalising your selection. Marble is also often available in mosaic tile sheets as well as the more standard tiles sizes and shape.

Where can marble tiles be used?

Marble tiles can be used as wall or floor tiles, as splashbacks or fireplaces and in selected bathroom applications. The suitability of the exact tile should be confirmed for its intended location, particularly in wet areas or on floors.

Can marble tiles be used in bathrooms?

Yes, marble can be used in bathrooms when the tile is correctly specified, installed, sealed and maintained for the application. Ask your installer to confirm the right preparation, adhesive, grout and sealing approach for the area.

Do marble tiles need to be sealed?

Marble tiles generally require sealing and ongoing maintenance, especially in wet areas. A suitable sealer can improve stain resistance, but it does not make natural stone completely stain-proof. Follow the sealer manufacturer’s instructions for the selected marble and location.

How should I clean marble tiles?

Use a cleaner suitable for natural stone, such as a neutral cleaner or mild non-acidic detergent diluted with warm water. Avoid acidic products, including vinegar or lemon-based cleaners, as these can dull or etch calcareous stone such as marble.

Should I choose marble or porcelain tiles?

Choose marble when you want the natural variation and character of genuine stone and are comfortable with its sealing and care requirements. Porcelain tiles can be a more practical alternative where a lower-maintenance surface or a highly consistent appearance is the priority.
