The use of mosaic tiles is a great way to achieve intricate tiling patterns without the risk of tile misalignment. Mosaic tiles, also known as “sheet tiles” are made of usually small individual tiles that have been pre-laid onto a vinyl backing sheet. This opens the potential for a wide variety of tile shapes and patterns whilst minimising the difficulty of installation.

Common mosaic tile patterns include hexagons, penny rounds (small circular tiles arrays), fan fish scale patterns and many other shapes. You can install herringbone tiling or repeating designs with ease. Additionally, mosaic tiles are available in almost any material type though glass, ceramic, porcelain and marble are particular favourites.
